Wonton Lasagna
This recipe is like a lasagna & a dumpling had a baby! It is much easier to prepare than a regular lasagna recipe!

Ingredients:
- 1/2 to 1 tsp. olive oil
- 1 lb. ground chicken or ground pork
- Pinch of salt, or to taste
- Dash of black pepper, or to taste
- 1/2 of a shallot, grated
- 4 cloves of fresh garlic, grated
- 2 c. cabbage or coleslaw mix, shredded
- 1 c. carrots, shredded
- 2 T. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. brown sugar
- Juice from 1/2 of a lime
- 8 oz. cream cheese, cubed
- 2-3 T. chili crisp, or to taste
- 1 pkg. of wonton wrappers
- 1/2 c. low moisture mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/4 c. green onions, diced
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In a large skillet set the temperature to medium-high. Then add in the olive oil.
- Once the oil is shimmering add in the ground chicken or ground pork. Then break it up into small pieces. Next put in a pinch of salt (to taste) & a dash of black pepper (to taste).
- Add the grated shallot & the grated garlic. Then mix everything together until it is well combined.
- Once you can smell the garlic, then add the shredded cabbage or coleslaw mix & the shredded carrots. Stir everything together.
- Cook it down for about 5 minutes or until the coleslaw is softened.
- Then add the soy sauce & the brown sugar. Plus the juice from 1/2 of a lime. Stir it together again until everything is combined. Then lower the heat to medium-low.
- Next add the cubed cream cheese. Then mix the cream cheese into the skillet until the cream cheese melts. Then add the chili crisp.
- In a 9″ x 13″ baking dish spray it with vegetable oil, or olive oil.
- Put one layer of wonton wrappers in the bottom of the baking dish & next add a thin layer of the filling.
- Cover the filling with another layer of wonton wrappers. Keep repeating the steps until you run out of the filling. The last layer should be the wonton wrappers.
- Top it off with the shredded low moisture mozzarella cheese.
- Put a lid on the baking dish, or cover it with aluminum foil.
- Bake it for about 20 minutes. Then remove the lid, or the aluminum foil & bake it for another 10 minutes.
- Let it sit for about 10 minutes before you cut into it. Top it with a little more chili crisp (if desired) & the sliced green onions.
