Ultimate Sweet & Spicy Chicken Stir Fry
If you are searching for an authentic Chinese Stir-Fry recipe then look no further! You cannot get more authentic than this recipe! It is packed full of flavor, from the first bite, to the last one!

Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lbs. chicken breasts, boneless & skinless, diced
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1 T. cornstarch
- 2 T. vegetable oil
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 tsp. red chili flakes, or to taste
Ingredients for the Sauce:
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1 T. honey
- 1 T. oyster sauce
- 1 T. rice vinegar
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 tsp. olive oil
Ingredients for the Sides:
- 2 c. cooked white rice
- 2 large potatoes, cut into wedges
- 1 1/2 T. olive oil
- Salt (to taste)
Directions:
- Cook the rice according to the package instruction & keep warm.
- Toss the potatoes with the olive oil & salt (to taste). Roast in the oven, on a baking sheet, at 425°F for 30-35 minutes until crispy.
- Season the chicken with the paprika, salt (to taste), pepper (to taste) & cornstarch.
- Whisk the soy sauce, honey, oyster sauce, vinegar & water together to create a slurry.
- Cook the chicken mixture in a hot skillet, or a wok, until browned & cooked through. Then remove from the skillet, or wok.
- Sauté the peppers & onion until slightly tender.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, or wok. Pour in the Sauce & simmer until glossy.
- Serve with the rice & potatoes!
Tips & Variations:
- Add broccoli and/or snow peas.
- Top with chopped peanuts and/or shopped cashews.
- Add extra red chili flakes for more extra heat.
