Teriyaki Sauce
Do not buy that stuff in the bottle from the store with all of the preservatives in it! Make your own so that you can control the ingredients & make it as tasty as you prefer!

Ingredients:
- 1/2 c. soy sauce or coconut aminos
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. ginger, minced
- 1 tsp. garlic, minced
- 1 T. honey
- 1 tsp. sesame oil
- 3 T. mirin
- 1/4 c. water mixed with 3 T. cornstarch
Directions:
- In a saucepan combine the soy sauce (or coconut aminos), brown sugar, ginger, galic, honey, mirin & sesame oil.
- Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the cornstarch slurry (water + cornstarch) while stirring continuously.
- Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Remove from the heat & allow to cool before using or storing.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks!
- Stir or shake well before using!
