Sweet & Sticky Chicken
Skip the takeout as this is as good at home! This recipe is simple, comforting & always a hit at the supper table! One bite & everyone will be asking for seconds!

Ingredients:
- 4 large chicken breasts, boneless & skinless, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 T. sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper, or to taste
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 c. chicken broth
- 1 T. cornstarch
- 2 T. water
- 3 c. cooked white rice
- 2 green onions, sliced
Directions:
- Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet (or wok) over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces, Cook until browned & cooked through. Should take about 6-8 minutes.
- In a small bowl mix together the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger & chicken broth.
- Pour the sauce into the skillet (or wok) over the chicken. Stir well to coat the chicken & let it simmer for 5-7 minutes so the flavors combine.
- In a small bowl mix cornstarch & water. Stir this mixture ito the skillet & cook for 1-2 minutes. Until the sauce thickens & coats the chicken.
- Spoon the chicken over bowls of warm white rice & sprinkle with sliced green onions!
