If you love Chicken Parmesan, but you want to lose weight, then this recipe is for you!

High Protein Chicken Parm Bowl is a Free Recipe from RedKettleCook.com!

Makes 1 bowl

Ingredients:

  • 1 c. cottage cheese
  • 1/2 c. Rao’s marinara sauce
  • 1/2-1 tsp. Italian seasoning, divided
  • 1 c. frozen chicken nuggets
  • 1/4 c. fat-free mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tsp. Parmesan cheese
  • 1/8-1/4 tsp. crush red pepper flakes, or to taste

 

Directions:

  1. In a prepared small baking pan add the cottage cheese, Rao’s marinara sauce & the Italian seasoning together.
  2. Add the frozen chicken nuggets to the baking dish.
  3. Then top it with the mozzarella cheese & the Parmesan cheese.
  4. Add some additional Italian seasoning to the top of it.
  5. Microwave it until everything is heated through & the cheese is melted. Should take about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Top with additional Parmesan cheese before eating, if desired.
  7. Can be eaten as soon as it comes out of the microwave!
