Chinese Dumplings
These are a beloved comfort food, known for their tender wrappers & flavorful fillings! Whether steamed, boiled or pan-fried, they are satisfying! They are perfect for sharing with family & friends!

Ingredients:
- 1 lb. ground pork or ground chicken
- 1 T. soy sauce
- 1 T. oyster sauce
- 1 T. honey
- 1 tsp. sesame oil
- 1 tsp. ginger paste or ground ginger
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
- 3/4 cup cabbage, shredded
- 1 package of wonton wrappers (or eggroll wrappers if in a pinch)
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
Ingredients for an Optional Dipping Sauce:
- 2 T. soy sauce
- 1 T. rice vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. chili crunch oil
- a little green onion, chopped, to taste
Directions:
- Mix all ingredients together thoroughly.
- Lay out wonton wrappers on a cookie sheet.
- Use a tablespoon or small cookie scoop to meat & put a dollop of the meat in the center of each wonton wrapper.
- Pick up wonton wrapper to form around the ball of meat inside & press the ends together (see photo).
- Put in a single layer, in a pan sprayed with cooking oil & cook for 2 minutes.
- Add chicken broth to the pan then cover it & cook it for 10 minutes until the dumplings are done.
- Remove from the pan & let them cool before they are ready to eat.
- *Optional: If you want them crispier, put cooked dumplings in an air fryer on 400°F for 5 minutes.
Directions for the Optional Dipping Sauce:
- Mix all ingredients together until they are well combined.
- Then dip the Chinese Dumplings in them!
