Grandma’s Peppermint Patties
Grandma sure did know what she was talking about when she made these! They taste better than anything you can buy in a store & they never last in your pantry!

Ingredients:
- 3-4 T. butter, softened
- 1 c. marshmallow cream or 8 oz. of cream cheese, softened
- 1-2 T. peppermint extract
- 1 T. vanilla extract
- 3 c. powdered sugar
- 1 c. chocolate chips
- Crushed peppermint candies (optional topping)
- Sprinkles (optional topping)
Directions:
- Add the butter, marshmallow cream (or softened cream cheese), peppermint extract & vanilla extract to a bowl. Then mix well until all ingredients are combined & are smooth.
- Then add the powdered sugar & mix well until everything is a smooth & creamy dough.
- Shape the dough into small round somewhat flattened discs, the place them on a baking sheet & put it in the freezer for 1 hour.
- Melt the chocolate chips.
- Then dip each disc in the melted chocolate & place back on the baking sheet (or on a cooking/cooling rack).
- Decorate with crushed peppermint candies, or with sprinkles.
