Homemade BBQ Sauce
Store bought BBQ sauce is full of artificial colors & preservatives! Making your own means using simple, real ingredients that taste better & once you try it you will never buy it from the store again!

Ingredients:
- 12 oz. ketchup
- 1/4 c. apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 c. date sugar (or your favorite sugar)
- 1-1 1/2 T. Worcestershire sauce or steak sauce
- 2 tsp. onion powder
- 1 T. Dijon mustard
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/3 c. honey
- 2 T. molasses
Directions:
- In a saucepan combine all of the ingredients & stir well to combine.
- Heat the sauce over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it starts to simmer.
- Reduce the heat to low & let the sauce simmer gently for about 5-10 minutes while stirring occasionally.
- Remove from the heat & let it cool slightly before using.
- Use the Homemade BBQ sauce immediately, or store it in an airtight container, in the refrigerator.
