Homemade Teriyaki Sauce
You will never need to buy it in a jar from the grocery store again! Make it at home & save the cost of buying it! It tastes great & you can adjust the ingredients to your liking!

Makes 1 cup
Ingredients:
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 T. cornstarch
- 1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder or 4 tsp. of garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 3 T. apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 c. low sodium soy sauce (or coconut aminos)
- 1 T. water
Directions:
- Whisk together the sugar, cornstarch, garlic powder or minced garlic, onion powder & ground ginger in a small saucepan set on medium heat.
- Add the low sodium soy sauce (or coconut aminos), the apple cider vinegar & whisk to combine.
- Cook until the bubbles start to appear, whisking frequently, about 3 minutes.
- Then reduce the heat to low. Simmer, stirring frequently until thickened, about 5-10 minutes.
- Chill it before storing it in a jar or in a covered dish for up to 10 days!
