Chili Cheese Burrito

If you are looking for a fulfilling meal, then this dish is the best one yet! It is much like a favorite one at a popular fast food restaurant & you will not find one better!

Chili Cheese Burrito is a Free Recipe from RedKettleCook.com!

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 3 T. taco seasoning
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 small onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c. refried beans
  • 6 T. tomato paste
  • 1 tsp. cayenne pepper, optional
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 8 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, freshly shredded
  • flour tortillas (Use low carb tortillas for Keto or gluten free for gluten free)

 

Optional garnishes: sour cream, cilantro, green onions, avocado and/or lime wedges

 

Directions:

  1. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, making sure to break it apart while it is cooking. Drain any excess grease afterwards.
  2. Add the onions, water, tomato paste, beans & seasonings. Then cook for about 5 minutes until the onions are tender & the beef mixture has thickened.
  3. Add the shredded cheese & stir until melted.
  4. Place a heaping 1/4 c. of the beef mixture onto a warmed tortilla & roll it up like a burrito to eat it.
