Chicken & Biscuit Bake

It only takes five minutes to put this recipe together! It is the ultimate comfort food recipe! It is warm, creamy & packed with flavor!

Chicken & Biscuit Bake is a Free Recipe from RedKettleCook.com!

Ingredients:

  • 1 rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 1 packet of Ranch Seasoning mix or 2 T. Ranch Seasoning Mix
  • 2-10.5 oz. cans of cream of chicken soup
  • 1-8 oz. container of sour cream
  • 1 1/2 c. cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1-16 oz. can of refrigerated biscuits, quartered
  • 3 T. butter, melted
  • 1 T. Italian seasoning
  • 1 c. frozen peas & carrots, optional

 

Directions:

  1. Prepare a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  3. Add the chicken to the bottom of the casserole dish.
  4. Sprinkle the Ranch Seasoning mix over the top of the chicken.
  5. Next add the frozen peas & carrots (optional)
  6. Then add in the 2 cans of cream of chicken soup & the container of sour cream. Stir until fully combined.
  7. Top everything with the shredded cheddar cheese. Then add the quartered biscuits on top of the cheese.
  8. Bake it for 20 minutes uncovered, or until the cheese is bubbly & the biscuits are browned on top.
  9. In a small bowl combine the melted butter & the Italian seasoning. Then brush on the melted butter with the Italian seasoning.
  10. Return the casserole dish to the over & bake for 10-15 minutes more until the biscuits are golden brown & cooked through.
  11. Let the casserole rest for a few minutes before serving warm.
