Three Ingredient Peanut Butter Balls

Red Kettle Cook

Have you ever wanted to eat your favorite peanut butter cups, but a cleaner-eating recipe? Then this one is for you & they taste exactly the same!

Three Ingredient Peanut Butter Balls is a Free Recipe from RedKettleCook.com!

Ingredients:

  • 1 c. peanut butter powder
  • 4 oz. of applesauce
  • 3/4 c. chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. In a bowl add the peanut butter powder & mix it with the applesauce until it is a tacky dough. If the dough is too sticky, or wet, add a little of the peanut butter powder at a time. It should resemble a play-dough like consistency.
  2. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces & shape each one into a ball. Then set aside.
  3. Over a double boiler, or in the microwave, melt the chocolate chips.
  4. Once the chocolate is melted, dip each ball into it & move it around with a fork. Make sure to let the excess drip back into the bowl.
  5. Place the coated chocolate peanut butter ball onto a baking sheet, lined with parchment paper & repeat the same process until all 12 of them are coated in chocolate.
  6. Freeze for 20 minutes, or until they are solidified.
  7. They may be stored in a glass container in the refrigerator, unless you cannot wait & eat them all at once!
