Spicy Peanut Butter Ramen

Kick up Instant Ramen with this recipe! It will change the way you eat ramen noodles forever! It is also a vegetarian dish & that is a hidden bonus!

Spicy Peanut Butter Ramen is a Free Recipe from RedKettleCook.com!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
  • 1 T. chili garlic sauce
  • 2 T. soy sauce (or coconut aminos)
  • 2 T. honey
  • 2 pkgs. of Instant Ramen (or gluten free Instant Ramen), discard the seasoning pkgs.
  • 2 green onions, diced (optional garnish)
  • 1/4 c. chopped/crushed peanuts (optional garnish)

 

Directions:

  1. In a bowl combine the peanut butter, chili garlic sauce, soy sauce (or coconut aminos) & honey. Stir until a smooth paste forms.
  2. Bring a small pot of water to a boil. Take 1/4 of a c. of the boiling water & stir it into the peanut butter paste. It should form a smooth pourable sauce.
  3. Add the ramen noodles (without the seasoning packs) to the pan of boiling water & boil for 2-3 minutes or until tender.
  4. Drain the noodles & return then to the pan with the heat off.
  5. Pour the peanut sauce over the top of the noodles & stir to combine.
  6. Top with the diced green onions (optional garnish) & chopped/crushed peanuts (optional garnish) if desired.
  7. Serve immediately while the noodles are still hot.
