Meatball Parmesan Sliders

These are made with cocktail meatballs, mozzarella cheese & tomato sauce. Then they are baked in garlic butter brushed Hawaiian rolls for a super easy & delicious dinner!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pkg. Kings Hawaiian rolls (or gluten free Hawaiian rolls)
  • 12 cocktail meatballs, cooked
  • 1/4 c. tomato sauce
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c. mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

 

Ingredients for the Garlic Butter:

  • 4 T. butter
  • 1 T. Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat an oven to 400°F.
  2. Cut small, deep circles into the center of each of the Hawaiian rolls, without cutting through to the bottoms of them.
  3. Using your fingers, or the bottom of a small glass (like a shot glass), push down the center to create a bit of a bigger space.
  4. Then brush the top & inside with the Garlic Butter. Then put them in the oven for about 4 minutes, or until they are lightly toasted.
  5. Next add a little of the tomato sauce into the hole & top it with a small piece of the mozzarella cheese.
  6. Then add the cooked meatballs & sprinkle each one with Parmesan cheese.
  7. Top with the rest of the mozzarella cheese & return them to the oven for about 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
  8. Let them cool slightly before eating & then top with the fresh parsley (optional). Enjoy!
