Honey Garlic Chicken Bites Over Creamy Rice

What a great way to enjoy a complete meal without all of the carbs! This recipe is tasty & will taste great from the first bite to the last one!

Honey Garlic Chicken Bites Over Creamy Rice is a Free Recipe from RedKettleCook.com!

Ingredients for the Chicken:

  • 1 lb. chicken breast, boneless & skinless, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 c. flour (or almond flour)
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. salt (or to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper (or to taste)
  • 2 T. oil for frying
  • 1/4 tsp. fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)

 

Ingredients for the Sauce:

  • 1/4 c. honey
  • 2 T. soy sauce (or coconut aminos)
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 T. apple cider vinegar

 

Ingredients for the Creamy Rice:

  • 2 c. cooked rice
  • 1/2 c. heavy cream
  • 1/2 c. shredded cheese (your choice)
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)

 

Directions:

  1. Mix the flour, paprika, salt (to taste) & black pepper (to taste) together until well combined.
  2. Toss the chicken breast pieces in the flour mixture until evenly coated.
  3. Fry in the oil until golden & cooked through.
  4. In a small saucepan simmer the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic & apple cider vinegar until slightly thickened.
  5. Coat the fried chicken in the Sauce.
  6. Mix the cooked rice with the heavy cream, shredded cheese (your choice), salt (to taste) & pepper (to taste) over low heat.
  7. Serve the chicken over the creamy rice & garnish with fresh parsley (optional)!
