Honey Chicken
If you are looking for a delicious bite of food then you have come to the right place! This recipe has all of the flavors without all of the carbs!

Ingredients:
- 1 lb. chicken thighs or breasts, boneless & skinless, cut into strips
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 1 T. oil (vegetable or olive)
- 1 T. fresh parsley, diced (optional topping)
Ingredients for the Glaze:
- 1/4 c. soy sauce (or coconut aminos)
- 1/4 c. honey or brown sugar
- 2 T. rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. ginger, grated
- 1 tsp. corn starch mixed with 1 tsp. water (for thickening)
Directions:
- Lightly season the chicken with salt & pepper (to taste).
- Cook the chicken strips in a hot skillet with the oil, until browned. Set aside once they are almost completely cooked.
- Make the Glaze by combining the soy sauce (or coconut aminos), honey, vinegar, garlic & ginger in the same skillet that the chicken was cooked in. Stir & let simmer.
- Thicken the sauce by adding the cornstarch mixture & whisk until it thickens.
- Add the chicken back into the Glaze. Toss until it is well coated & glossy.
- Top with the fresh parsley (optional) & serve warm!
