Homemade Heavy Cream Flour Tortillas
By replacing the fat with heavy cream, these tortillas will come out with softer tortillas & they will be bursting with flavor!

Ingredients:
- 4 c. all purpose flour (or almond flour)
- 1/2 T. baking powder
- 1 T. salt
- 2 c. heavy cream
Directions:
- Mix the dry ingredients together until well combined.
- Warm up the heavy cream until it is lukewarm. Gradually add it to the flour mixture until a smooth ball of dough forms.
- Cover the dough ball with plastic wrap & let it rest for at least 20 minutes before separating it into 1″ rounds.
- Place the 1″ rounds on a baking sheet that has been lightly coated with flour. Cover with plastic wrap & let rest again for at least another 20 minutes.
- Add some flour to a cutting board, or the countertop & roll the dough rounds out with a rolling pin. Roll them out until they are 1/8″ to 1/4″ thick.
- Then place each tortilla on a griddle, or a flat skillet & cook until they are browned on each side. If they form large bubbles while cooking, use your spatula to push the bubbles out to the edges. Place them in a bowl lined with a dish towel, or in a tortilla warmer.
- Eat them with a breakfast taco, make them into a burrito, or enjoy them with a little butter!
