Fried Rice
Why get takeout when you can make it at home for less cost? This recipe can be made to suit your needs, by adding or subtracting ingredients! It’s flavorful & delightful for any Oriental meal!
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 3 c. cooked rice
- 1 bag of frozen peas & carrots
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 T. vegetable or sesame oil
- 3 cloves of garlic, crushed
- 3 T. soy sauce (or coconut aminos)
- Diced green onions, for garnish
Directions:
- In a skillet over high heat add the oil, diced onion & crushed garlic. Sauté for 2 minutes.
- Add in the frozen peas & carrots. Sauté for an additional 1 minute, stirring occasionally.
- Add in the cooked rice & mix well.Make a well in the center & add the eggs. Whisk them & stir them until the eggs are fully cooked. Then mix them into the rice with the soy sauce. Once everything is fully combined sauté for an additional minute.
- To serve, top with the diced green onions & enjoy!
