Cream of Anything Soup Powder
Use this recipe in all of your favorite canned soups, instead of the canned soup that you buy at the grocery store! It will save you money & allow you to control the ingredients of your soups!

Ingredients:
- 2 c. dry milk powder (powdered milk)
- 1/4 c. chicken bullion powder
- 3/4 c. corn starch
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp. dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp. salt, or to taste
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper, or to taste
Directions:
- Find a jar with a tight fitting lid.
- Use a funnel add all ingredients to the jar.
- Close the lid & shake until well combined.
- To use this melt 2 T. butter in a saucepan, over medium heat, with 1/3 c. of the Cream of Anything Soup Mix. Using a whisk stir to combine until it is well blended.
- Then mix in 1 c. of cold water & increase the heat to medium-high. Whisk the ingredients until they boil.
- Reduce the heat to low & whisk for 5-7 minutes.
- Let that cool & that is the equivalent to a can of creamed soup!
For Cream of Mushroom Soup: Add 1/2 c. chopped fresh or dehydrated mushrooms. Use a spice grinder to grind up the dehydrated mushrooms. If you are using the dehydrated mushrooms use 2 T. in the soup.
For Cream of Broccoli Soup: Add 1/2 c. chopped broccoli.
For Cream of Celery Soup: Add 1/2 c. chopped celery.
For Cheddar Cheese Soup: Add 1 c. of shredded mild cheddar.
