Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars

If you are looking for a sweet treat, but are watching your sugar intake, then you need to try this recipe! There are only five ingredients & no chemicals in it!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars is a Free Recipe from RedKettleCook.com!

Ingredients:

  • 1 c. natural peanut butter
  • 1/2 c. maple syrup or honey
  • 1 c. almond flour
  • 4 oz. dark chocolate chips
  • 2 T. coconut oil (refined if you don’t want any coconut flavor)

 

Directions:

  1. Line a small cookie sheet or 10×10 pan with parchment paper.
  2. Put peanut butter in a bowl & microwave about a minute to soften.
  3. Add maple syrup & almond flour. Then stir until a soft dough forms.
  4. Put dough in pan & use hands to flatten out to fit the pan. Freeze for 10 minutes.
  5. After 10 minutes, take dough out of freezer. Put the dark chocolate chips in a bowl with the coconut oil.
  6. Microwave in 20 second increments until the chocolate is melted & smooth. Spread chocolate over the dough evenly & freeze for 10 minutes.
  7. Cut into bars. Refrigerate until ready to eat.
