Bacon Cheeseburger Rice Skillet
Classic cheeseburger flavors with beef, bacon & rice come together in one skillet! This is a quick & filling meal!

Ingredients:
- 2 lbs. lean ground beef
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 c. of barbecue sauce
- 1 T. yellow mustard
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper (or to taste)
- 2 c. instant rice
- 2 c. beef broth
- 1 c. cheddar cheese, shredded
- 6 slices of bacon
- 2 green onions (optional garnish)
Directions:
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the beef & onion for about 5 minutes. Breaking up the meat as it cooks.
- Drain the excess fat from the beef, then add the barbecue sauce, yellow mustard, pepper & rice to the beef mixture. Stir to evenly combine. Then cover the mixture with the broth.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top & cover the skillet with a lid. Let it simmer for 5-7 minutes.
- Garnish with crispy crumbled bacon & chopped green onions (optional). Enjoy!
