Crockpot Steak Bites
These are perfect for weeknight suppers! They can be made in the morning & be ready when everyone’s finished with school and/or work at the end of the day! Enjoy the creamy layers, herb-infused richness & family-friendly comfort in under 8 hours!
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs. sirloin steak, cut into cubes
- 1/4 c. low sodium soy sauce (or tamari for gluten free)
- 1/4 c. beef broth
- 2 T. Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
Optional toppings: sesame seeds, green onions
Optional add-ins: 1/2 c. mushrooms, 1/4 c. diced onions. 1 T. honey (for a sweet-spicy twist)
Optional serving sides: steamed rice, mashed potatoes, or crusty bread for a complete meal
Instructions:
- Cut the beef into uniform squares for even cooking.
- In a bowl mix the soy sauce (or tamari for gluten free), Worcestershire sauce, garlic & optional add-ins together.
- Place the steak in the crockpot & pour the sauce over it.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Transfer to a baking sheet & broil for 2-3 minutes until golden and slightly charred.
- Garnish with sesame seeds or green onions, if desired.
- Pair with rice or veggies for a classic comfort combo.
